Laura Leuzzi is a PhD candidate at the University of Bologna, supervised by Prof. Massimo Meneghetti, Prof. Yashar Hezaveh and Prof. Lauro Moscardini. Her research aims at designing the optimal training strategy for detecting galaxy-scale strong lenses with convolutional neural networks for the Euclid mission. Currently, she is also working as a research intern in Ciela where she will study the application of machine learning models to observations of strong lensing on galaxy cluster scales.
