Marine Prunier

I am a PhD student in the Department of Physics at the Université de Montréal, under the joint supervision of Prof. Julie Hlavacek-Larrondo (UdeM) and Dr. Annalisa Pillepich (MPIA, Heidelberg). The aim of my research is to explore the feedback from active galactic nuclei (AGN) on galaxy clusters, using both X-ray telescope observations and the IllustrisTNG cosmological simulations. By studying the complex mechanisms that govern the evolution of galaxy clusters, my project aims to determine whether the black hole feedback model implemented in IllustrisTNG simulations agrees with actual cluster observations.
